In case you havent researched the Atocha tragedy. One hurricane sank the ship and two weeks later another scattered it. Hmm tropical revolving storms means wind directions switching by the minute. A barrel could have easily found itself back in Cuba as easy as it could have found itself in the pan-handle of Florida.
But because we know the emeralds were planted that all becomes a moot-point.

brezlin, Two things. Number one, I would not be a bit surprised if the Fisher's did find the Lost Merchant, with Gold on it. I bet they didn't use Harry Potter's Magic Wands to to Find it either. I'm sure they used new proven technology.

Secondly, Maybe the Guys that were in the newspaper article. ( ORR ) Found Jay's site with their magic wands and will take it, if Jay loses his Admiralty Claim in the Court Case.
Also, if you would have done the DD on the company that was in the newspaper, you would have found out that the pictures of the Gold in the newspaper were from ORR's Old web site for Gulf Atlantic in Marathon. I doubt the Gold was from their new technology.

We haven't heard from the Court yet or Jay's friends, so maybe they are expecting the worse.
