Lets have a little fun here...Keeping in mind that my contention has always been that both parties are pretty much equally responsible in the last four administrations...

Obama promised numerous times to close it in 2007...He has approved money to both renovate and expand it, when he has the ability to close it with a stroke of the pen...However, this is only one base to house the detainees....
Keeping in mind that early in his presidency, he held a speech in Cairo that denied we were building "Permanent Miliraty Bases" in Iraq and Afghanistan...While we were both expanding the current ones, and building new ones....
3. The Fear of Iran and Nuclear Bombs - Check out the CIA use of the MEK in Iran which is no longer a "Terrorist Organization" in the eyes of the administration...Or the ever expanding Sanctions on the Iraqi Peoples by the Obama Admin...Or the inablility to enter into any diplomatic negotiations with Iran...WHEN...
- Iran is a signatory of the NNPT and has the right to develop Nuclear Power. Signed by the U.S. Congress and president. Which makes this treaty U.S. Law. - The last three National intelligence assessments have said that Iran has no Nuclear Weapons program. - The IAEA has state clearly that Iran has no Nuclear Weapons program.
