Ironic that you should bring up Hewlett's association with SRCH (Searchlight) as proof of his credibility. Searchlight has been scamming people for over 7 years now, without ever producing a single professional report for review, or producing a single ounce of gold. They are light years ahead of Hondo in how to fool people, and have raked in tens of millions over the last 7 years, and still going strong. The founders of SRCH are well-documented scammers and are true professionals (professional scammers, that is).
I believe Hewlett also has ties to that wonderful multi-billion dollar gold and platinum deposit in New Mexico as well (El Capitan). I hate to speak ill of the recently departed, but Mr. Hewlett seemed to have an affinity for associating with some of the most sordid penny stock "mining" companies around.
And failing to register with the State of Arizona to do business here is a bit of a simplification. It has nothing to do with "doing business" in this state. Mr. Hewlett apparently issued a report (or reports) without the benefit of proper professional registration in the State of Arizona. More than just a little oversight.
