I have no clue on the science, but I had dealings with a major pharma in the midwest years ago and I know what goes into pharma acquisitions, particularly as it relates to diabetes-related drugs. That takes time and we really have no idea where in the process Fuse is. I'm not saying it can't happen, but that enzyme is already patented -- not pending.
I guess I take what I read pro and con with a grain of salt. I made the same bet you did. The original confidence in buying this is based on the fact that smarter people than I have directed Tiger and Ortiz to invest in this company -- many of them long-time advisors. Vitamin Water worked out for Papi, eh?
There's enough evidence to support Fuse being a safe bet. Infoseeker has probably documented it the most accurately. No sense in getting hyped up in either direction, unless you're day trading and want the action. Stable stocks grow steadily. Hopefully we're nearing that stage and we emerge from penny status richer for it.
