Why would one pay at the ask and raise the price, when for whatever reason people are still selling. Now when the bid is 6 I move my bid order up to 6 and support that. It would make no.sense to do it otherwise? I am not here to make other people money lol. If they want to sell by all means do so. If you want to sell to me, well I will be at the bid whatever it may be,. Simple trading strategies. I have been doing this a while now and I think I know what works. I will not chase because I have my position, to be a chaser you have to have no shares and try to get in. When that time comes, I will just sit back and watch my wallet get fat.
