And still, ergo, you fail to address my question, yet continue to try and masquerade your lack of answers with more bashing and insulting ... same as every other leftist to whom I have posed that same challenge ... i.e. produce something that Bush has done, that anyone else wouldn't have also had to do, that has hurt the country.
Sorry, but the first tax cut did not trash the economy. That contention is nothing more than the left's propaganda, and now has lost any degree of synthetic truth they may have thought they might originally be able to inject into it.
Neither they nor you are up to the challenge, so the rhetoric just continues to flow, and flow, and flow. Meanwhile, the left, it seems, places a dollar-amount-price-tag on freedom now that Bush is in office whereas, should a democrat have been elected, they would be going balls-to-the-wall to spend any amount necessary to take care of whatever needs to be done.
Indeed while they deride Bush for spending, they simultaneously call for more spending on internal security. You don't see the irony there? Or, how about simple hypocrisy?
The real truth is the democrats are overjoyed that they AREN'T in the oval office, having to deal with the myriad of 'no-win' situations Bush is facing, and IMO, are very likely 'throw' the presidential race in 2004 so they won't have to face the challenges - provided GW hasn't worked them out to the degree the democrats feel they can step into and come out smelling like a rose. They don't have the stomach to face the problems of today, and therefore will be content to remain on the sidelines, "Monday Morning Quarterbacking" and continuing a barrage of criticism flowing against Bush and the Republicans - regardless of the actions the administration might take, or the degree of success with which these actions might meet.
Understand, I am not questioning the 'patriotism' of the left ... just the intelligence, honesty and, above all, the integrity. The main mission of the democrats has sunken to the depths of nothing more than insult, criticize and find fault, while dedicating every possible effort toward staying out of harm's way themselves. Admirable goal, huh?
Where are the ideas and positive input? Where is the 'bi-partisan cooperation' about which they constantly carp? Where is the 'compassion' and 'concern for human rights' about which they constantly want to boast? Where? Well, certainly not front and center, is it?
If I appear passionate about this ....... well, I am. But I will try to not let it emerge in personal attacks on you. Just against the party and ideals you seek to defend.
Regards.
