Interesting mess isn't it? I mean trying to figure out why things are moving in the directions which they are doing is always fun.
I'm still of the opinion that we are going to hit the wall next year. No matter what kind of deal comes together to supposedly avert the fiscal cliff our economy is going to slow dramatically.
That's why I took the small profit I finally had in RTEC. That's why I am not afraid to short some KLIC which looks a whole lot cheaper than RTEC right now.
If we get into a bear market sell off every sector is going to go down. These 20% sell offs or more generally happen every 4 to 5 years in general. But who knows?
If interest rates start rising dramatically in the face of higher taxes the whole nature of how people borrow and invest is going to be questioned in a big way.
