peppa's Penn reel and one of the small Kroc's he sent me hooked 3 coho, only landed one, 8lb chrome bright wild one that I released.
Found two nice schools right along the beach in 4-6 feet of water....damn coho, in the summer they are almost a pest when we hook them while trying to catch big springs...this time of year they shut their mouths pretty tight.
