Bush has taken a real heads up from these countries and is trying to be just like them: asking for the same political solution the russians have been employing in chechnya or the chinese have used in Tibet. Or the french have performed for us so admirably in the Ivory coast. These countries are all great examples of the path of political settlements which guarentee peace.
The difference is that Bush actually does not want to rule Iraq. Now thats a twist on the political settlement model isnt it. I guess he should go back to school and study the methods of the russian and chinese peacemakers more so he can learn the fine points
