I invest based on outstanding shares
When I first bought some shares earlier in 2012, the number of OS was about 600M. Now, it's 736M.
Sure there's been dilution, but as the company's sales and prospects have improved, so has the stock price, so it's all good.
Float is irrelevant to me, since I base the value of the company on the number of fully diluted shares, which in this case, I believe is the same as the number of OS.
I don't worry right now about the increase in the number of Authorized Shares, since those 200M shares are simply there to secure a loan or line of credit. If they make the appropriate payments, then those shares will never hit the OS total.
