Dan, very amusing post. As far as I understand, many decent traders have ego issues, but this is still a poor excuse for the posts like yours (g).

I picked the bottom pretty well around HUI 170; sold too early. Still 4 out of 5 stocks are now lower/significantly lower than my "sell" levels.

I am not familiar with the pundits that you follow, so this statement may be correct (g). I did better than Saville during this year.
I like his macro and currency views - I think this is his major strength; I will continue to subscribe to his letter. Saville's timing of the overall market is pretty naive IMO. I don't pay attention to this part of his updates.
