it cant be sold in the US because....
the company chooses not to go through the hoops, costs, red tape and rules required to export the product from Germany to the US...As an individual you can not purchase the product in the US because the company chooses not to establish a US presence...You can not purchase it over the internet and "import" it yourself because the company chooses not to export to the US (by choice)
The way to get the product is to...1) go to Europe and buy it...2) have someone else go to Europe and bring it back for you or 3) get a European third party to ship it to you....
I dont know, alcohol is not my drug of choice...but they are probably refering to importation and alcohol taxes.... if it's true they get $30 US for a six-pack of the stuff in Germany, they'd probably have to put it on the market for $100 just to cover shipping and US fees and taxes and break even. Plus, not every company wants to be a global conglomerate...Maybe they have no current intention of marketing outside their current markets...who knows it's all guessing....your last explanation is also possible...but Ive had true Hemp Beer...I dont drink beer...I dont care for the stuff...but the Hemp Beer I had tasted like beer but gave you a "hempy head" more than an "alcohol head"...For beer it wasnt bad
