One can be making a relatively good living at it (I have spent in the last 15 years close to a $ million sending four kids to private schools and colleges <g>). You should know that you must have the "psychological" make up to do it, namely, you mst be able to look in the mirror few times a day and say, "what I did was idiotic, I must be an idiot" (g). Not too healthy for big egoes (vbg).

Instead of answering what average returns are "possible" (since, of course, it's always "possible" to make a million a day), I'll answer what is PROBABLE.

It is PROBABLE that you'll lose money. That's what most people do.

Keep in mind that, when you are reading a thread like this one, a lot of the major posters are SURVIVORS. You don't see all the people who've lost all their money, because they are not posting any more.

From long-term-buy-and-hold to day trading is a very big leap. You might give some thought to swing trading first.

One thing that might be helpful to know is that Zeev has stated his goal as being right 60% of the time.

One strategy I can tell you does not work (for me, anyway) is trying to mirror Zeev's trades. The big problem with that approach is timeliness of information, i.e., the market moves faster than Zeev can post his trades. Also, since he does not charge for the information, he is under no obligation if he is late or makes a mistake in reporting. The best I was able to do with it was about breakeven.

I have found him to be very good with general market direction if your expectations are reasonable, and he is excellent at understanding the markets.

How about >1000% since September 2000? http://www.geniusity.com/index.asp

Seriously, has anybody here looked at that system, let alone used it?
