I joked that placing the deciding vote in the hands of Clarence Thomas, who has a reputation of being lazy might be bad. He may not read anything. However as Scalia raises his hand so will Thomas; so it might be good. I appreciate your responses. I questioned the patent approach from the start, it should have remained a trade secret. But here we are, dependent on the rulings of Judges who may not have had a Bio course since 1959. Politics will just introduce another "wild card."
