Avastin has a consistent pattern of PFS improvement with dubious OS results. MIght correspond to selecting for tumor stem cells.

In this case, however, there is likely a clear clinical benefit in shrinking/stabilizing brain tumors even if it doesn't improve OS.

Any comments on the controlled Phase 2 trial that CLDX is conducting combining rindo + Avastin? It is due to report in 2H13.

Glad you qualified this contention since there are other explanations for the disparity between PFS ad OS, particularly for trials in the first-line setting.
