This is actually good news. The FTC had wanted to skip the trial and go right to sentencing. And really, I believe their case against Rambus should be thrown out. It is a very weak and somewhat suspicious case brought about by the fact that Micron's lawyers used to work at the FTC. This whole story should make for a great "movie of the week" someday!
