I have genuinely learnt so much from you guys, your research and diligence is outstanding and I would happily throw my 748k of APDN shares into the "coalition" pot.

You guys have found out lots of fascinating info. If anyone was interested in this stock they should read this board.

Personally I'm not sure at this stage that a coalition would eek anymore info out of the company at this juncture as Johnsyn says there will be an investors conference soon. That said I agree with you and AG it would be a lovely thought if APDN kept more in touch over the coming months.

I also understand the frustration with dingo and others regarding no news. Clearly as they have already signed up the market leading chip supplier to the US Government it's obvious to me they have signed others up too but as AG said perhaps the others at this stage want silence. This is a political hot potato anyway at the moment. There could be many reasons for the silence. Going over past history the company often post PR's heading into financials so who knows......

In my opinion the only real issue we should concern ourselves with regarding the PPS is how the market will react to the final quarter results. I doubt that the last quarter will be a profitable one. They would have to sell upwards of 3 million dollars for that to happen. That said I don't think it really matters, the company will have made a great step towards break even and as long as we see revenues increasing substantially and my guess is around 100% improvement over Q3, turnover over 1 million dollars would give the market I believe great confidence of what will be achieved in 2013.

We all know about the mandate and the benefits that will flow plus all the other revenue streams they are working on. They have more staff, bigger factory and why..........MORE DEMAND = MORE REVENUE

We just have to hold tight for a while longer. If we get a PR soon then great if not the financials will light the way. We have a great stock, a great company and when I read what you guys have found out I just feel more and more comfortable that we will reap the rewards of our investment.

Thanks for all the research you all post on here I really am an APDN believer.

This part of Armchair's DD this morning (added to ibox, will be sticky note after MODs decide which one to give up, only allowed 4), but it addresses your question:

Q. How will open contracts be impacted?

A. DLA will evaluate open contracts on a case-by-case basis to determine whether a modification will be initiated to incorporate the new requirement. Open contracts judged to have the potential for significant future product deliveries or risk are likely to be modified, or possibly canceled in order to issue a new solicitation with the DNA marking requirement.

Q. How will existing inventories be impacted (e.g., at the manufacturers, authorized distributors)?

A. DNA marking is not intended to validate existing inventory, or existing product in the field. DLA uses other tools and processes to meet this need. DNA marking, in conjunction with trusted suppliers and approved DLA vetting processes, will apply to all new receipts of FSC 5962 in our depots.
