Thanks for all that info, I believe we also have trials being run with Perifosine by our partners in specific locations where they've licensed the drug for. While I have no idea what the progress is in these trials, it's possible we could learn something at almost any time. I can't say how significant results could be from any of these trials, but if they're positive they can't hurt.
What I do know is that top notch American Doctor's have relocated to places outside the U.S. where they can get effective drugs that are not yet approved in the U.S., some which might never be. In England there are something like 19 hospitals where patients not in trials can try experimental drugs in protocols which may never have been previously tried, the key is all participating must agree to the protocol. I don't know that news will come out of any such applications, but it's very possible that what's learned in such trials may lead to new FDA approved trials that gain or expand on FDA approvals.
