what do you have in mind?

I installed my own 20+ years ago in my house (ground level floor only, not on second story)....
poured a six inch slab (rough screed finish with 2x6 on edge) ..
installed 5/8 refrigeration copper (each room individual mat)
poured 2 inch slab (no aggregate)

porscha, I know nothing about hydronic hot water radiant heating, but I will be waiting to read what replies you get. I am planning to build a workshop about 30'x40' and I am thinking about heating it. If what you mentioned is what I'm thinking of, it could be a possibility for me. I don't need to have the area at house temperatures, just get it comfortable to work in a long sleeve shirt. While I'm looking, I will pass along whatever I find. Have a good one ~ shao

porscha, Here are a couple of links to them. Maybe you will find somethiing in them. I thought about installing the hot water sysytem in my house out here I built, but at the last minute, and checking my account, showed me I could not do it on this house anyway, The next one for sure. That heat is so nice, not dry, easy, quiet, efficient, don't even know it is there, the list goes on. If you can afford it, by all means go with it..........
