not gonna carry Texas for Obama this time around -- but Texas could be a swing state being contested by Hillary in 2016, and may well go for Hillary's second term in 2020

I am deciding whether to vote twice. My ex-wife's absentee ballot shows up every election, which is odd since she now is registered somewhere else. Since Obama is going to win in a landslide in california anyway, no need to take the risk of dropping it in the mailbox.

I just find it odd that since voter registration is linked to the DMV here {you just check a box when you get your license if you want to register) that there doesn't seem to be a mechanism for it to change when someone changes their address with DMV. I wonder how common it is for absentee ballots to be sent out for 5 years or so after the person does a change of address on their driver's license?
