fastlizzy... I think you are right on. I think it is going to take more Republicans like Christie and hopefully Boehner and others in the House and Senate, to have the courage to stand up to Limbaugh and Fox News and the Tea Party and the other right wing bullies... if they can do that, we can finally have bipartisan agreement and work with President Obama and the Democrats and get to work on fixing the problems in our country.
It's not personal or political. Christie is tripped off the line stressed out and inundated with a state in peril and he's trying to do his friggen job.
Personally I can't stand the guy, but I respect him for stepping up to the plate and trying to do what's right for the people of his state, what more can you ask of a Governor?
He's reaching out for help wherever he can find it and FEMA is setup just for this type of situation. I applaud both of them for setting party differences aside and doing what's right for the people suffering in harms way.
As a country, we should take note and leave the partisan politics aside and do what's right for the country and the people. And if you talk to them they would tell you, a job would be nice.
Let's wrap up this ongoing WAR philosophy and start investing money right here at home instead of overseas.
Yeah I think that would be a logical first step. Live long and prosper.
I'm not certain Christie will use words to endorse Pres Obama and frankly, it's not necessary - pictures speak louder than words and the pictures of Obama/Christie working together on NJ's huge problem speak volumns...Mitt who?
