DesertDrifter -- would be absolutely appropriate, a perfect fit, could not find a more qualified nominee -- question would be whether that'd be what he wanted to do with the rest of his life, whether he'd want to live the rest of his life within the limits of that role -- to me seems, for some time has seemed, screamingly obvious if he were open to it
