Of course they are - afterall, storm victims asked for this monsterous storm and purposely put their homes in harm's way just to get a "handout" from FEMA...low interest loans THEY have to pay off, btw.
Now Romney, ever the politican, had the right idea - he didn't waste time urging his supporters to donate money to the Red Cross, who has the expertise in dealing with disasters, no, Romney held a non-campaign campaign rally and collected cans of peas for the storm victims.

Gallegos best choice for CU Regent
I highly support Glenn Gallegos for University of Colorado Board of Regents. He has enormous experience in the field of education, which spans longer than 26 years. Just one example is his commitment to keep CU affordable and accessible for Colorado students by incorporating partnerships with various business organizations and creative entrepreneurs to assist with offering real work experiences and scholarships.

Providing CU with a vision of global competitiveness in the free marketplace with programs that will give each student a more than adequate education to compete globally and contribute to the economy of this great nation is one more example of Mr. Gallegos's rich educational background.

Furthermore, when Mr. Gallegos was on the Colorado Mesa University board of trustees, he was instrumental in establishing an engineering program through a partnership with Colorado University.

In closing, I will be voting for Glenn Gallegos for CU Regent. He has repeatedly demonstrated the skill set and experience necessary to collaboratively improve the educational system, which is very complex when you add in CU's medical component. Just anyone will not do. A statesman like Glenn Gallegos will triumph where others have failed.

CU needs a tough leader with a vision of academic excellence for all students who will set higher standards for all faculty and students.

We do not need another Ward Churchill incident.

We need a leader who will give students an economic edge to help them make a difference in the world. That man is Glenn Gallegos. There is no other.
