io_io, i actually appreciate your take on the possible negative issues of investing in mnta which are usually missing from the regular enthusiasts. I am not suggesting they are pumpers or anything like such. it is just a normal psychological thing for people to be blindsided on the negative side of things when they really do have a great preference for certain investments.
that is why i never mind so called "bashers" when i have a big stake in a stock (and i do swing big sometime) especially when their negative opinions are well articulated. if i consider their argument superior to my investment thesis in that stock, i would cut my loss (if i have one ) and bail. i try to leave my ego out of my investment decisions.
everything i read about great successful investors/traders mention the importance and superiority of psychological/emotional kind of intelligence over the regular logic/knowledge one.
