Melissa Harris-Perry, wonderful! .. it is heartwarming as hell to see a lady as courageous and wise as
Melissa speak out so openly .. to see her scolding so nicely those hung-up on religion so much they do
not know empathy beyond the barriers they create for themselves .. these are of the party who preach a
believe in freedom, captured in a sticky unpleasant spider-web .. people as Mourdock and Akin .. and Romney ..

.. the GOP have degenerated into a reality which is almost beyond the comprehension of any normally balanced individual ..

thanks, F6 .. lol .. am glad now of the decision to have banana porridge, before heading out again ..

“I believe that life begins at conception…The only exception I have, to have an abortion, is in that case of the life of the mother. I’ve struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize that life is that gift from God. And even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.” Senate candidate Richard Mourdock

Melissa Harris-Perry you are right it is about choice. Mr. Mourdock can CHOOSE to have his own opinion about the matter. You are not the only one with choice Mrs.Harris-Perry. There are many women who CHOOSE to have a baby because they, like Mr. Mourdock, strongly believe life under any circumstance is a gift from God. Mr. Mourdock simply and honestly responded to the question with HIS view on abortion. I did not hear him anywhere say he would lock up women or go out of his way to overturn Rowe V. Wade. I heard him give HIS opinion about the subject he was asked about. He has a RIGHT to his view as well. If Mrs. Harris-Perry you get so upset about the subject , then maybe you should ask your media friends to stop asking questions about it. Many people feel all life is precious.

Mr. Mourdock didnt bring up the subject, with all the more serious problems we have today, its the media and debate moderators who unfortunately always ask about this issue. Funny they never ask that question at a democratic primary debate. Its always in the general election and always asked to the republican and its always asked and talked about more frequently as we get closer to voting day. The media hacks want to make sure they try to show that republicans are anti-women because its their agenda to try and swing more women voters towards their candidate. The media goes out of their mind when someone like Mitt Romney comes out and says he is anti-abortion but supports a womens right to abortion when it comes to rape, incest or the life of the mother. They dont want anyone to sound reasonable so they simply paint him as a liar becasue he doesnt answer the question the way they want it answered.

This whole subject of abortion is a joke. Presidents Reagan , Bush and Bush all ran as pro-life candidates. None of them ever seriously tried to overturn Rowe v. Wade and Romney is no different and has even less interested than them. There is ZERO chance of overturning Rowe v. Wade. Romney has his view of abortion but he is not interested in going after others who oppose his view. I , personally am ultra pro-life. I like Mourcok believe life is a gift. But my religion also teaches me we have free will and freedom to choose. Although I am ultra-prolife, I believe its equally wrong for me to want to penalize , arrest or do anything to interfere with someone else's free will. Its not my job to be judge , jury or executioner. I'll leave that to the God I believe in. Thats his job, not mine. Same thing on the death penalty. I am very much anti-death penalty. Again, thats God's job, not mine. Although I find it very hypocritical that we actually penalize and send people to jail if they destroy an eagles egg but the child in the womb is ok to destroy. But again , I'll leave the penalties to God.
