Honestly, I feel better about the APK merger, I believe when it's all said and done this is going to benefit JAQ investors by potentially providing us with yet another valuable Russian asset.
While the AP and JA merger may or may not have always been in the plans, we do know Bailey and Anderson were not added as company officers of AP until sometime in late September so any sins of previous mgmt in that ticker are irrelevant IMO.
Of course I believe they may need to wipe the slate clean there too, which is the reason I'm not a buyer, it's too risky for my blood but may pay off too, it's just impossible to tell without more details.
