No... first, there was never a 27 point lead, it was 24 points, and that poll was done by PPP... The PPP poll has shown a lead go from 23 to 24 points from Sept to Oct.
Another poll, the Elway poll, also from this month showed 50-38 support.
This one, done by Washington's local PBS, shows 51-41 support.
No matter how you cut it, as long as it shows double-digit majority support, that means it's VERY likely to pass! It means that if EVERY SINGLE undecided voter ended up going against, it would still pass.
The next PPP poll should come out next week -- and that one should be compared to the 24 point margin from before.
Also notice EVERY SINGLE poll this month from WA has shown double-digit majority support. THAT IS HUGE. Prop19 was losing at this point.
