Everyone must make choices and no one "knows" what will happen , so we don't know yet who made a mistake and who didn't until we can see with hindsight and why cry over spilled milk even if it does happen. I hold both stocks in this field (actually 3 because DSNY deals with it own style of piracy) because I have no crystal ball so I divided my funds and we'll see.
It is not about hope at all. Look at the patents. Look at the management. Look at the partnerships.
Your hope comment should be a concern to you. You seem to be investing in companies before you KNOW the trend and before you consider the stock trading ranges. Buying on the hot news? Selling on a comparative analysis of how your portfolio value is declining day vs day without looking at the trading range.
If you have limited funds, you should not be making these rash choices - IMO. Due diligence first, then invest. Hope is not a valid investing parameter.
