Hamas Terrorists Arrested Ahead Of
Planned Attack Against PM
(IsraelNN.com) A Hamas cell planning to
assassinate Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was
apprehended last month. The gag order on the
arrests of the terrorists was lifted.

A Hamas cell based in Bethlehem planned a bomb
attack against the prime minister's vehicular
convoy.

Other attacks planned by the cell included targeting
a synagogue.

Zeev, I am not sure of the reason for directing this post at me. I am very sympathetic with the Israeli existence. the content of your post appears to be more propaganda than reality. I've said before and will again, the Soviets produced 40,000 nuclear weapons. 4,000 of these were 20MT. Given the state of the brutalized and drunken unpaid guards at 6 foot chain link fences in front of the repositories of these devices how can anyone not fear that many of them are in the hands of religious fundamentalists? Some knucklehead with 50 pounds of conventional explosive strapped to his body is one thing. A freighter with a 20MT weapon 10 miles off the coast of Tel Aviv is another matter entirely. If we continue our chosen path that nightmare may become the truth.
