Now that Turkey has backed out of IRAQ war, do you think the
US will divide IRAQ into a few "more stable" counties?
With maybe a few of these smaller counties containing most of the oil wells ?

Thanks, Zeev, For the history. I was just doing a little Bible reading last night and found the passage about "the land from the Nile to the Euphrates". Given the times in which we live literal religious fundamentalists are a terrible danger. Let us hope that indeed, cooler heads can prevail. One point that is worrisome is your statement,

I wonder, if no matter the will of the Palestinian people and a new Palestinian leadership, this would be possible? There will always be a handfull of crazies that would try to derail peace. What to do about them during a transition period that could take 2 generations or more? Best to you and your family.
