lol I would also add that the ipad mini will be a huge hit and destroy the little market share the kindle fire and the nook have.
Also if the apple tv has integrated facetime it may change home phone communications forever into an easy to use video chat device for those less tech savy. I can see it now. granny can video chat with the grandchildren with the push of a button or by talking to siri.
and then there is the global growth of apple in emerging economies......
I just made my first apple purchase today :) I hope to have more shares soon. People try and fight the tape, but its going 1000 and beyond. maybe another stock spit and I think they will continue to raise the dividend.
It would actually be great if the stock market took a shock dive over the fiscal cliff post election time for a bit so i can load up cheaper. apples p/e multiple shows the stock is underpriced and its earnings growth will continue to rise.
I love the shorts keep doing it cause like a rubber band when you get squeezed out on major moves the stock makes new highs.
Short interest is currently 1.6% of the float with a SI ratio of less than a day. I am an investor in AAPL, but I must say that "shorts covering" will have little to no effect on the share price and certainly will not send it to "new highs".
AAPL will be fine and I plan on adding as funds become available but shorting is not an issue here.
