"You can't blame Bush for everything" - true, but he has to take the blame for his war in Iraq. After 911 GWB told us/world OBL was the engineer of that tragedy and we'd hunt him down. Within months of 911, GWB ordered the pre-emptive invasion of Iraq. Huh???
I don't blame Bush for everything but after floating 12-15 excuses and deciding the WMD story worked like magic in scaring most of people most of the time, GWB ordered the pre-emptive invasion of Iraq - a 3rd world country with a 3rd world military. Iraq did have one thing going for it though, it had a huge potential oil supply. Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
As for OBL? We don't even hear the guy's name anymore. What we're hearing more and more in GWB's speeches since his approval rating is sinking is "terrorist" "terrorism". Do you believe Karl Rove's strategy to use the magic words will again scare people? Poll numbers say no.
As for "religious maniacs", IMO those who caused 911 were not religious.
Some people say the converv right wing christians are extreme in their views - does that qualify them to be called "religious maniacs", or is it just other religions who are and not them?
