littlejohn -- again, not responsive -- Obama ran on refocusing on Afghanistan and going after and getting bin Laden/al Qaeda leadership -- his ultimate decision to do a 'surge' in Afghanistan, with which I disagreed, was hardly outside what he ran on -- everybody had full fair warning he might do that
and now/in the near future, if Iran comes due, at least while Obama's in office, I really don't think that'll be a boots-on-the-ground operation inside Iran -- no need; we know the targets, we destroy them; they build more, we destroy those; and so forth till Iran gets tired of the dance and says 'fine, enough, let's settle this so we can move on to a better future' -- just as Obama has kept 20,000 U.S. troops in Kuwait, in that event other/additional may be positioned outside Iran but nearby -- but I really don't see our troops inside Iran unless/until there's a truce/peace and they're there solely to secure, remove and destroy/finish the demolition of certain materials and installations
