Sandy,perhaps but i was just trying to distill the argument down to its basics; i.e. peace or war, which i believe is the over-riding thesis at present. as to your outline, i believe #4 has genuinely no bearing whatsoever; #5, while terrible in its prospects, is not given much credence by those on the street and #3, correct or otherwise, is barely on the radar screen as a possibilty. quite frankly, i think we are witnessing an attempt by the powers that be to over-simplify,justify and rationalize a market they can't comprehend.
