Justice Dept requests additional info on Whirlpool-Maytag merger (WHR) 73.29 :Co announces that the Dept of Justice has requested additional information. Co says a "second" request is typical in transactions of this nature. Both parties continue to expect the deal to close in Q1, 2006.
