We haven't fallen for his line. Another perspective is, how could we have such a government that allows a President to start a war w/o the broad support of the people. Actually we don't have such a govt, but Congress caved in Sept. They shouldn't have done what they did, if they were really doing their job. But the Bush's were brilliant in how they manipulated them and the electorate. But, as Mad Ave people, advertising doesn't travel well, its very culture specific, and eventually even good ad campaigns get stale.

Read Federalist Papers nos. 10, 51 and 63. I think they're the most relevant ones to this shameful episode.

But gee, maybe Tom K. and King George are right, and the Iraqis will have a democracy within a couple of years and be dancing in the streets.
