well at least North Korea officially apologized to Japan. For years people were being snatched from southern beaches in Japan over a period of 20 years. There were all kinds of rumors from aliens to man eating fish to korean mini subs.

It turned out that in fact it was the Koreans that were snatching japanese citizens for twenty years.
