If you short QLGC keep it on a tight leash...HP is announcing a lot of storage stuff in the next few weeks and if QLGC won the HPUX HBA contract that single deal would add 20% to their topline alone imo.
I wasn't planning on touching QLGC. that stock hates me. I would consider buying the puts back if we could bounce. I really dont see this going anywhere up or down for rest of day so will probably do nothing option wise. not going to lose the weekend premium. so at this point in the day, about all i would do is a daytrade on the QQQ.
have you been watching bonds. they made quite a run. i have been noticing over the last few weeks that they no longer have as much affect on stock indexes as used to. tehy have about run their course imo and those monies will start to flow to stocks. actually i suspect they already are, giving support to our market off the low on feb 13th. steve
