SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Constellation Brands Inc. after Thursday's closing bell reported second-quarter net earnings of $82.4 million, or 34 cents a share, up 2.2% from $80.6 million, or 35 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue at the Fairport, N.Y.-based wine and beer producer rose to $1.19 billion from $1.04 billion last year. Analysts polled by Thomson First Call had estimated revenue at $1.24 billion.
