agree..."some" were certainly fighting against the JV and pulled out all forces to try to prevent it. These 2 companies will prevail, imo. Looking for all the info to come about here soon:)

Smear campaign to break up a JV between GDSM and WSRA? No, what got Jenkins in trouble was allowing a report of his to be posted on-line for all to see. He has been producing these "appraisals" and "technical reports" for 20 years, almost always signed as a mining engineer and using his SME membership number as though it were a PE registration number.

Until this year, his reports were usually just handed to investors and they stayed under the radar. But, somebody slipped up, and put it out on the internet for all to see.

No, I don't feel sorry for someone that has made a living claiming to be something he is not. And the report states that he was working for another party (the Whartons), thus, there is no claiming that he did the work for himself.

Don't worry, the outcome is pending - it takes the AZBOTR a minimum of two months to investigate, set up a hearing, and make a decision about Mr. Jenkins.

For the record, GDSM posting the Azurite report on their website is not what got Jenkins in trouble.

That is correct.

Mr. Jenkins had been producing technical reports for years without being registered in Arizona. He got himself in trouble in 2010 by doing the Azurite report for the Whartons and then it was exposed on the internet by GDSM. That was fuel on a fire that was already burning.

Let us remember that Mr. Jenkins was under investigation with the American Society of Professional Geologists and resigned his membership/registration early last spring prior to either the GC, GS or Azurite reports being released!
