Good choice.My backup would be the 427 Corvette Stingray.Later models tended to wheel stand and never really amounted to much at the Drags.Late 50's Vettes , early 60's (stingray models)vettes did well.

Never a Ford fan but would never sneeze at a Shelby Cobra :)
