I have registered many names for the company that I used to worked for. They were all under the primary name of that company and many we never used. They were registered so others could not take them. Like I said before you are making a non-issue into the a meaningless issue. There is absolute no issue here other than the way they issued the press release. It stated they acquire 40% of Cavu Global. What they did was form a company with a partner. The partner received 60% and Cavu received 40% ownership. They then named the company Cavu Global. Yes everything is separate for accounting and reporting requirements. They could have called it whatever they wanted as long as the name was not taken by anyone else. Also it is easier to register under a primary name that you already own than naming it something completely different. The search is limited!
