From the research I've done, it looks like BandPage by RootMusic is our biggest competitor for musicians right now. I would actually buy into this company too but they are VC backed (see link below)

I had never heard of them either, until I talked to a few of my buddies who are musicians and are on the "other" site. I am trying to get them to BSV.

I do like the other sire better right now, simply because they have a whole lot of musicians on the site to listen to. BSV has none.
