Zeev,
Jeremiah 1:5 reads quite differently when the comma is removed. This is the case for the 3 most widely accepted Bible translations (KJV, NIV, NASB). I assume the Jewish scriptures have the comma. (btw, are there commas in Hebrew?).
Jeremiah 1:5 (NASB) "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations."
So God foreknew Jeremiah, before He began to form his physical substance.
Since...
1)The scriptures can be legitimately read to support the "human life at conception" position.
2)The natural revulsion of conscience one has at the destruction of the baby 5 minutes before birth is a clue that such an act is "wrong"
I continue to hold that the "pro-life" position is the one that pleases God, and is therefore "correct".
