Again, read my links and you'll understand my feelings. I have spent much time on this on my own, and in school. These posts will get you to close where I am in knowledge and will save us a bunch of time. However, I say this with a lot of reading, researching and communication on the subject; knowing what I know you will not change my mind.
I don't what care what we have done, it's in the past, I know what they have done and they are no better than US, and I believe worse. I care what they are doing know and what they intend to do, and have always intended to do. Hell, if their own are not Radical enough they kill them!
It's In Their Religion! They believe in World Conquering and there the only three options for those who are not them (infidels), this is it.
1- Slave 2- Death 3- Become a Muslim and be taxed as a less than a real Muslim.
The reason you don't see many moderate Muslims protesting their acts of terror is two-fold; their religion allows lying for the good of Islam, and any true moderate Muslim is not true and real Muslim and ends up dead.

I'm not trying to avoid any truths, I believe I know them; I just really dislike repeating myself over and over again. Plus, like I have sated here and elsewhere many times, I have a limited time in in the chair at my desk.
