SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- November crude fell $1.57, or 2.4%, to close at $63.90 a barrel, its lowest closing level since Sept. 16 on easing concerns over supplies. But November natural gas finished at $14.224 per million British thermal units, a record closing level, up 20.7 cents, or 1.5% for the session. Traders were unwilling to drive prices for the heating fuel lower ahead of the winter season, with less than a third of its production in the hurricane-battered Gulf of Mexico back online
