SEC did absolutely nothing to prevent the rape of innocent shareholders of Chemtura in 2009 at a personal cost to me of approximately $600,000, and now my portfolio is down by $150,000 as a direct result of capricious and un-communicated actions of the SEC which was enabled by laws and procedures intended to protect us.
I think we need to scream bloody murder personally. The MM and VC tricks of manipulating stocks have been well known for a long time, and just now they are taking action on that after receiving how many complaints and disclosures of undeniable evidence of it for years? Do you honestly think they are protecting our interests or that of the power elite? I say it is the latter. I say it is time to remind them of who they are supposed to be, and that is civil servants working for the public interest.
