You may be correct. I just know that I want no alliance with the type of people the media covered in Sheehan's peace rally. I am very disappointed in this administration on any number of its actions or lack of action in the case of our borders. I am ready for Newt Gingrich to step forward and try to salvage the party.
PegnVA... the antiwar movement is illserved by Sheehan. She thinks she is entitled to special standing in opposing the war because she lost her son who expressed no misgivings and in fact re-inlisted. She is a political radical who demanded that troops leave not just Iraq but "occupied New Orleans". Who blames Isreal for her son's death. Who complains that the news media went "100% Rita" rather than cover other news, meaning her. She thinks the good guys are the "freedom fighters"- the ones who besides killing thousands of Iraqi innocents, killed her son.
