flota, FYI, Fuel Cells are already in place and working. Both residential and commercial. You can research it yourself and find out. As far as vehicles, Germany has it's first vehicle with fuel cell technology.

With the demand for Hybrids now, I would dought that fuel cells will play a major role in our lives longer then 6-8 years from now.

This conversation reminds me of the cancer industry. If Corporate America wanted a cure for cancer then it would be here by now. However, more money is made by treating cancer than stopping it's formation and growth.

Same with alternative fuels, if Corporate America wanted a cheap transportation fuel it would be here by now. But again, more money is made by exploiting existing hydrocarbon infrastructure than developing cheap transportation fuel. In both cases it's all about money.
