yeah I saw the subscriber comment buried in the replies section below the subsequently proven to be mistaken article that dirt posted. who knows, i might or might not have been the subscriber who posted the comment back in jan 2010.
either way a jan 2010 formal retraction from engadget would seem to be somewhat more credible (not to mention more link-able) than a subscriber comment buried in the replies section of a mistaken article. thanks for pointing out the subscriber comment for others like dirt who missed it.
